Borders MP John Lamont will host an advice and information fair for pensioners this Friday in Kelso.
The event at the Tait Hall from 11am to 2pm will allow older people to find out about services and support on offer in the Scottish Borders.
Exhibitors at the fair include British Gas, Citizens Advice Scotland, RNIB Scotland, Alzheimer Scotland, Berwickshire Housing Association BeFriend, Home Energy Scotland, and the Salvation Army.
Other organisations who will be appearing include the Scottish Borders Council Financial Inclusion Team, SP Energy Networks, Scottish Power, the Food Train, the Department for Work and Pensions, and Victim Support Scotland.
Many more local clubs and groups will be in attendance to discuss topics including health, home safety, housing and benefits.
John Lamont, said: “I’m delighted to be hosting this important event to help give pensioners in the Borders the information and support they need and deserve.
“I hope to see as many people as possible come along and receive advice on a whole host of topics from healthcare to housing to benefits and more.
“I’m grateful to the many organisations who have signed up to attend and exhibit at this fair.
