John Lamont MP has launched a new plan setting out his key priorities for the future of the Scottish Borders.
He said the policy paper was a "blueprint to improve key Borders services."
The 'Boost the Borders' plan includes ideas to enhance public services and aims to upgrade local infrastructure.
Mr Lamont said he hoped the positive and exciting proposals would bring people together and focus attention on how to make the Borders an even better place to live and work.
He launched the plan and discussed it with local residents on Friday at a street stall in Kelso.

"My plan is a blueprint to improve key services. It outlines my top priorities and aims for the future of the Borders.
"These ideas have been developed from listening to the pressing concerns of constituents. I welcome all feedback from local residents on ways we can make the Borders an even better place to live and work.
"I look forward to progressing these positive proposals with the Scottish Borders Council, the Scottish Government and the UK Government.
"My Boost the Borders plan aims to improve digital, physical and social connections across our local areas.
"It is focused on bringing people together around our shared priorities, such as improving local job opportunities, boosting digital services, boosting transport links, and boosting access to local health services.
"As your Member of Parliament, I will always remain laser-focused on your top priorities. That’s why I’ve developed my Boost the Borders plan to help improve the place we call home."
