An online public meeting will be held later this month for local people to have their say on proposals for a mega-pylon project across the Borders.
Rachael Hamilton MSP will host and chair the discussion about the Cross Border Connection Project at 6pm on 16 December.
The meeting will include representatives from Scottish Power Energy Networks, who have launched a consultation on the project, which would install approximately 75km of new overhead power lines across the Borders.
Anyone who wants to join the discussion can sign up at the following link

The consultation period was extended to December 23 following pressure from the Scottish Conservatives for the views of local people to be fully considered.
Scottish Borders MSP, Rachael Hamilton, said: "Since news of this project emerged, I've been clear that the views of local people must be heard and respected.
"People across the Borders are justifiably concerned that the pylon proposals could scar the countryside and harm our environment.
"This online meeting is an opportunity for anyone worried about the project to come forward, ask questions and discuss it.
"It's vital that the views of Borders residents are fully considered. Any project of this scale must have the support of the local community."
